News: Federal Minimum Wage Posting Requirements
Federal Minimum Wage Posting Requirements Starting July 24, 2007, there is a new Federal minimum wage ($5.85 per hour). To avoid penalties, all employers, even those in States such as Pennsylvania, with minimum wages ($7.15 per hour) higher than the federal rate, must post the required information. The poster is available free, from the U.S. Department of Labor’s website at http://www.dol.gov/esa/regs/compliance/posters/flsa.htm The minimum wage poster for Pennsylvania is also available free of charge from the website of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry at http://www.dli.state.pa.us/landi/cwp/view.asp?a=142&Q=64690. If you have any questions about these requirements, or other mandatory workplace postings under Federal or State law, please call a Schubert Bellwoar attorney. Return to News
