Changes to I-864 Documentation
In a memorandum recently issued by the USCIS, it was announced that applicants who submit Form I-864 (the Affidavit of Support that is required to be filed on behalf of an adjustment of status applicant), will now only need to submit one Federal income tax return for the tax year that is most recent as of the date the I-864 was signed, rather than having to submit a copy of a Federal income tax return for each of the three most recent tax years as had been previously required.
